20 months

Molly is 20 months and trying to say lots of new words.  She is finally saying Momma, tree and poo. She also loves to stick her tough out and roll it.

She loves her "d's" and most times has to have more then one with her.

Heck with the baby swing she is ready for the big kid swing.

She loves cheesing for the camera.

Mother's Day

I had an absolutely wonderful Mother's Day celebrating with my 4 special little people.

18 months

Molly's 18 month appointment went well.  She is still a little peanut with large noggin.

Weight: 20 1/2 lbs 4% (she is officially smaller than Lila was)
Height: 31.5 inches- 40%
Head Circumference: 18.9 inches-85%

She loves to sit on the potty.  She doesn't exactly know what she is supposed to be doing but she sure loves it.

She loves clipping and painting toenails.  She is obsessed with me clipping her nails.  Sometimes she will even bring me the clippers and will beg me to trim them.

I purchased a smaller slide and climber for Molly to play with this summer so she could be a little safer.  But guess what she hasn't touched it.  Instead she prefers to climb this one. I must admit she does a pretty good job.

She even loves to swing on it and big brother is pushing her.

She wants to do everything her brother and sisters do.  She doesn't miss a beat.

Helping Daddy make brownies and the best part is taste testing.

When she wants you to do something or is trying to tell you something when you finally figure it out she gets so excited, smiles and laughs.

She loves playing outside

She is a very big helper and wants to be just like mom.  If I am cleaning up something off the floor with a paper towel you had better bet she has to have a towel too and doing exactly what I do. She loves to pick up clothes off the floor and take them to the laundry room.  This day she was helping me take all the clothes to the big kids to get dressed. If I am picking something up that may seem to her heavy or hard to move she will actually try and help you by grunting while watching you.

First ponytail...her hair is actually pretty long but its so curly that it appears to be much shorter.

She enjoys spinning in circles until she feels dizzy enough to fall down and she thinks is so funny!

She has never went to bed before the big kids go to bed.  A couple of times she has just crashed from exhaustion but she refuses to miss anything and will not go to bed before they do.  So every night she helps us tuck them into bed, they say their night night prayers and then she goes around to each of their beds and makes sure their light mobiles are on. She will sometimes give them hugs and kisses and then she always waves bye to them. Before she leaves the room she has to make sure that all of the mobiles are still on and if they are not she makes sure to turn it on before she leaves the room.

Then off to bed for her we go and each night I still rock her to sleep.  When she finally goes out most nights you will catch her with her hands between the crib and the bumper.

19 months

Heck with the baby swing this little gal just moved right on up to the big kid swing.  She enjoys everything about the big kids playground.  She uses the ladder, she slides down and she even things she needs to climb the rock wall and surprisingly she does a pretty good job!

I love these curly locks!

Molly selfies

This grin is infectious and her big bear hugs are even better!

She thinks she is so big! She even spent the night for the first time away at Grammy's house with her brother and sisters.

Who needs a high chair!

I am sure this wont be the first time I dwell on the fact that this child does not nap.  She can go strong the whole day long without a nap and even still not go to sleep until after 8.  However, when she does nap she is awake until 9 or 10 pm.  I just don't understand how she can require such little sleep.  Thankfully she does sleep wonderfully through the night and most morning doesn't wake up before 8am. This however was one of the evenings we played very hard and went to take a bath and after she was out and dress she fell right asleep in our bed.

I still rock her and or pat her back to sleep.  I know I really should stop but its precious moments I will never get back. So for now I will happily watch her drift off to sleep each evening. And most of those sweet times is spent with her giving me pats on the back and lots of kisses.

Molly has unfortunately found herself on the time out bench on several occasions. She clearly does not like it there!

Some of her favorite toys are cars, Barbie's and Babies.  She loves helping mommy clean and really doesn't like a mess at all.  If I am cleaning up a mess she must help and get her own paper towel to use. And she loves throwing things in the trash can in addition to trying to see what goodies she can find in there!

17 months

This sweet little girl is growing up way too fast! Her personality just keeps getting bigger.  I adore her smile and how it lights up her whole face.  I love how when she grins so big that her eyes squint up and all of those teeth shine.

"No" has become a favorite word along with the head shaking.  Too bad because yes was coming so easy before.

Peek a boo mom...I love to eat! And when I am hungry I rub my belly and say "mmmmm" Her love for cheese also keeps going. Now she says "that's cheese"

She especially loves all things sweet and of course icing!

She insisted on getting baths with her sisters and brother in the big tub. So after fighting with her and trying to figure out the best way to keep her safe in the tub...puddle jumpers! Works like a charm and she can freely move and have fun in the tub.

She loves spinning around and around in circles often times until she falls down.

Just relaxing on the couch!

When its diaper changing time and she has a stinky diaper she says "p-shew" and holds her nose.  Which then gets her started on nose honking. she has to go around the room and honk (squeeze) everyone's nose and she wont stop until the person says honk honk.

First time painting

Mommy and Molly selfie!!  This girl loves her momma and I sure love all the snuggles she gives me.  I hope that never changes!
